Vertical Slider Windows

Our uPVC sliding sash windows have been designed to replicate the look and style of traditional sash windows for period properties, offering outstanding energy performance and security.

For traditional charm and character, our sliding sash windows are the ideal option, adding authentic appeal to any home whilst meeting local architectural style and planning requirements.

Double glazed sliding sash windows add authentic character. Old sliding sash windows are notoriously energy inefficient and all types of problems can be encountered with their operation.

But our replacement uPVC sliding sash windows completely eradicate all of these issues, giving you high performance functionality combined with traditional style.

uPVC sliding sash windows seamlessly blend with different architectural styles, making them particularly suitable for period properties and homes in conservation areas. With their classic design, these windows enhance the aesthetic appeal of your home. They can be customised to match existing features and are a popular choice for homeowners in the East Midlands region.

All of our sliding sash windows are bespoke to your needs and available in a range of colours and styles.

Mock Sash Horns

Mock sash horns on vertical slider windows offer homeowners the perfect blend of traditional charm and modern functionality. These decorative elements mimic the look of classic sash windows often seen in heritage style homes.

Originally, sash horns reinforced window joints and prevented sashes from being opened too far, but modern designs make them entirely decorative.

By incorporating mock sash horns, you can enhance the period aesthetic of your home, particularly those desiring the Georgian era look.

Mock Sash horns are also available on our Casement Windows, if you prefer to retain the functionally with the top pane opening out, rather than the bottom pane sliding upwards, while still maintaining the look of a sliding sash window.

What is a sliding sash window?

Also known as a ‘vertical slider’, a sliding sash window consists of two sliding sashes that slide up and down individually or simultaneously. They allow for an influx of natural light and improved ventilation.
